The Harf.Lawn Giveaway Social Media Prize Draw is being run by WIE LLC, a company incorporated in Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates, and its registered address at Business Center, P.O. Box 515000, Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates (“us”, “we”, “our” and/or “Wie”).

Eligibility

The Giveaway Draw is open to all individuals who are 21 years old or older. Entrants are required to have an Instagram account and follow Harf.Lawn social media account: instagram.com/harf.lawn (“Harf.Lawn Social Media Account”). 

The following individuals are not eligible: (a) employees of WIE LLC or its affiliates, and (b) anyone connected in a professional capacity with the Giveaway Draw, and (c) members of the immediate family (parents, children, siblings, or spouses) of a person in (a) and/or (b) and/or those living in the same household as a person in (a) and/or (b), regardless of familial relation.

Entrants in the Giveaway Draw constitute full and unconditional agreement to these terms and conditions, and abide by the decisions of WIE LLC, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Giveaway Draw. 

Entrants are prohibited from submitting an entry for a purpose other than entering the Giveaway Draw for the entrant’s personal benefit. Prohibited purposes include, but are not limited to, engaging in competition with WIE LLC and luring emails to any fraud management tool such as a “spamtrap” or “honey pot.” 

We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant from the Giveaway Draw if, in our sole judgement, the entrant has not complied with these terms and conditions, has tampered with the operation of the Giveaway Draw, or has engaged in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to us, the Giveaway Draw, or any other participant in the Giveaway Draw.

The Giveaway Draw is void where prohibited by law.

 

Prize

In each Giveaway Draw there are three, unless mentioned otherwise, prizes to be won (each, a “Prize”) . The details of the Prize will be elaborated in the social media post (the “Rules”). Winners will be contacted by direct message to the social media account they used to enter the Giveaway Draw by @harf.lawn and provided with the Prize or with a code if it is a Gift Card Prize. The winners will be selected from entries on Instagram in each Giveaway Period. 

 

Prize Conditions

1. The Prizes carry no cash value and may not be transferred or substituted, except that we may, at our sole discretion, substitute any Prize won with a prize of equal or greater value.

2. Any unclaimed Prize remains the property of WIE LLC

3. No substitution or transfer of a Prize will be permitted, except that we reserve the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value if the advertised Prize is unavailable. 

4. Prize cannot be transferred by winner. No Prize can be redeemed for cash or can be used for a prior purchase. 

5. If a Prize element is not available for any reason, the remaining elements of the Prize shall constitute full satisfaction of our Prize obligation to winner, and no additional compensation will be awarded. 

6. The Prize is awarded without warranty of any kind from WIE LLC, express or implied, without limitation. 

7. Winners, and not WIE LLC, shall be responsible for any and all taxes and/or duties as well as any other expenses not specifically included in the prize description. 

8. Except where otherwise stated herein, all Prizes will be delivered free of charge (or in the case of electronic vouchers – emailed) to winners using the information submitted via the entry form. 

9. We may verify the information submitted by the winner during the contest. 

10. In the event that we do not receive sufficient eligible entries to award all of the Prizes, we have the right to cancel the Giveaway Draw. 

11. The Giveaway Draw is not sponsored by and is in no way endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media network on which notice of the Giveaway Draw is posted, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram.

12. In the event of any dispute, all submitted electronic entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the Instagram account from which they were submitted. 

13. You understand that you are providing your information to WIE LLC and not to Instagram. 

14. We will only accept entries that are completed and submitted in the format designated. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. Duplicate entries are not permitted and will be disregarded. Proof of electronic submission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. 

15. All entries are deemed to be entered into the Giveaway Draw on the day of receipt by WIE LLC. To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, all entries, and materials submitted to us in connection with the Giveaway Draw (collectively, “Entry Materials”), along with all associated copyright and other proprietary rights, except as reserved by relevant third parties, become the property of WIE LLC upon submission, and any Entry Materials will not be returned to any entrant. Entrants agree to take any further action reasonably requested by us to effect, perfect, or confirm our ownership in or to the Entry Materials and any associated copyright and other proprietary rights.

Opening/Closing Date & Time

Between the day and time the Giveaway Draw is announced to commence (“Announcement Date”) and the day and time it is announced to end  (“End Date”), collectively known as the “Giveaway Period,” you can enter the Giveaway Draw. Entries will be accepted online by following the Giveaway Draw Rules elaborated in the social media post. All entries must be submitted during the Giveaway Period. Limit one entry per person. No purchase will increase any entrant’s chance of winning a Prize.

 

How to Enter

To enter, during the Giveaway Period, you need to submit your entry by following the Giveaway Draw Rules elaborated in the social media post.

Winner Selection

We will, in our sole discretion, select the Prize winners (each “Winner”) at random after each Giveaway Period ends. Prize Winners will be selected on or within 7 days following the End Date (“Results Date”), from among the eligible participants who have abided by the Giveaway Rules during that Giveaway Period. We will announce Winners in a story on Harf.Lawn Instagram Social Media Account after the Results Date (“Notification”). Each Winner will also be notified through direct message to the social media account they used to enter. The Prize will be shared with the Winners within 7 days following the Result Date (subject to the below). 

If a selected Winner (or any substitute winner) is ineligible or cannot be reached within 7 days of receiving the Notification, that Winner (or substitute winner) will forfeit the Prize and it will be awarded to a substitute winner. The substitute winner will be selected in the same way the initial Winner was selected, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. If, having attempted to contact a Winner and a substitute winner, we are unable to award a Prize, we reserve the right to consider the Prize unclaimed. This process is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Non-winners will not be notified.
By entering the Giveaway Draw you consent to us (i) contacting you using your social media account contact details provided to us for participation in the Prize Draw; and (ii) passing your details to the Prize Provider and any relevant third party for the purpose of contacting you in the event you are a Winner. 

By accepting a Prize, entrants consent to the use of their name, county of residence, likeness or Prize information for promotional and other reasonable purposes without further payment, except where prohibited by law. A Winner may be requested to participate in our reasonable marketing and promotional activities. By entering the Prize Draw, you expressly consent to any photos or videos of events connected with the Prize that may be posted on Harf.Lawn Social Media Account. If you are a Winner and you submit any material, including but not limited to photographs, videos or testimonials, to us for use or publication in connection with our reasonable marketing and promotional activities (including but not limited to our official social media activities) you consent to our use of such material and waive any right you may have to inspect or approve such activities and you release and discharge us from any claims or liability relating to our reasonable use of your material.

 

Odd of Winning

Odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received, but can be calculated by dividing the total number of entrants by the number of prizes.

Privacy Notice

All information submitted in connection with this Giveaway Draw will be treated in accordance with these terms and conditions and with our Privacy Policy

 

Waiver of Liability

We will not be responsible or liable for: (i) any failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or other conditions beyond our reasonable control; (ii) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (iii) any disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond our reasonable control; (iv) any postponement, delay or changes that may impact on a Prize caused by events beyond our reasonable control; or (v) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Prize Draw. 

 

General Release

By entering the Giveaway Draw you release WIE LLC, relevant third parties, and each of their respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives and agencies, from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway Draw or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, except as prohibited by law. 

 

Amendment

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we reserve the right to change these rules or cancel the Giveaway Draw at any time, in our sole discretion.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Federal laws of United Arab Emirates for the time being in force. 

All Disputes shall be amicably resolved between us within ninety (90) days from the date thereof. Failure to reach amicable settlement shall cause the Dispute to be referred to a court of competent jurisdiction in the United Arab Emirates.
